The Sam Jalloh Sports Foundation runs and supports sports programmes for underprivileged children in Africa. The Foundation was founded by former Sierra Leone professional tennis player, Samuel Jalloh and was formerly known as the Max & Sam Tennis Foundation. Like Africa Tennis Aid, the foundation appeals and collects unwanted tennis and sports equipment for African communities and in addition strives hard to run coaching and competitions, improve facilities, supports educational opportunities and talented players throughout Africa.

Travel2Change is an online community which connects travellers with meaningful travel experiences provided by local hosts for the benefit of an overseas community.

Tennis For Africa is a charity based in Rome, Italy and aims to fund projects in Africa through tennis events and auctioning sports memorabilia.  In partnership, Africa Tennis Aid has donated tennis equipment and raised money for a deprived school community in Bo, Sierra Leone

Tennis for Free is a sports charity which aims to increase participation in tennis in the United Kingdom for all ages regardless of ability, background, race and financial circumstance by providing tennis instruction for free in public park tennis courts.

United Through Sport is a UK registered charity, established in 2004, dedicated to encouraging disadvantaged individuals and communities to develop to their full potential in sport, education and health around the world.


Rising Stars of Africa is a Sports development charity whose vision is to offer coaching, education and financial support to talented young people in Ghana and ultimately to give them the chance to fulfill their sporting potential and to unify their local communities through sport. The charity works in underprivileged local communities using our overseas volunteers to go into clubs and schools to help provide education, equipment and training sessions that can make a real difference to the lives of the children participating.

Caribbean Coaching is a new UK gap year sports coaching programme co-founded by Joe Page, one of the tennis coach volunteers on the Ghana Tennis Project with Sporting Opportunities in 2007. Caribbean Coaching’s association with the St. Lucian sports communties initially began when they ran a donation drive collecting rugby kit and training equipment in the UK to give to the national rugby team, and perhaps more significantly providing boots and kit for St. Lucia’s youth rugby players in some of the country’s poorest areas. Their programmes aim to equip the most impoverished of St. Lucia’s youth with the means to play sports through a donation appeal, coaching sessions and offering month long coaching placements
