On 3rd August 2013, ATA teamed up with Sutton Churches Tennis Club who had played an active role in equipment appeals for the campaign over the years to host a Play Tennis For Africa Day.  Members of the club enjoyed a Parent/Junior Tournament, tennis games and raffle which included a signed dress from Ana Ivanovic and a signed picture of Rodger Federer.

 

Tennis For Africa supplied T-Shirts for the tournament finalists, whilst Rackets and tennis bags from Wilson and tennis prizes sponsored by local businesses were also amongst the array of prizes for the day.  Proceeds of over £250 went to Christ The King College, Sierra Leone towards their campaign to rebuild their schools tennis courts and revitalise tennis activity back into the school Sierra Leone School Tennis Appeal.
