Sam Jalloh and Sal Bolton at his show and book launch 'Yes I Can' at The Atkinson Theatre, Southport
Congratulations, Samuel Porreh Jalloh, on the launch of his new book, 'Yes I Can' at the The Atkinson Theatre, Southport last week. Sam has been a charity partner with Africa Tennis Aid with his own foundation 'Motivate Africa' and friend for some years now, working together to distribute tennis equipment to underprivileged communties across Africa - so I, representing Africa Tennis Aid, was honoured to be invited as a guest with his many friends and family from around the world to his inspiring show, recounting humorous stories and talking about his extraordinary, but unimaginable life journey - surviving the Sierra Leone civil war, how tennis changed his life and overcoming all his hardships and adversities with a positive mindset, the will of determination and resilience to achieve greatness.
