Tennis Balls donated from The Hurlingham & Queens Club - London

After a smashing summer of Wimbledon Tennis with Strawberries and Cream - many thanks to April Tod for kindly donating tennis balls from The Queens Club, hosts of the annual summer Queens Club Championships in the tennis calendar, and The Hurlingham Club London to Sam Jalloh's MOTIVATE AFRICA campaign in collecting tennis equipment to give more underprivileged young people in Africa a chance to play tennis!

In Sam's incredible memoir 'How Tennis Saved My Life'

he recalls, growing up in Sierra Leone and escaping the civil war, how they would make rackets or 'bats' out of wood pieces cut-to-shape and wrap elastic bands all together to form a bouncing ball - very innovative - but all children deserve better with proper tennis balls!

If you would like to donate tennis balls or rackets for Africa Tennis Aid contact us here.
